Serving New Oxford and surrounding communities, we provide a fun, educational program for the development of preschool age children.
Children learn through play and hands-on activities, and we offer lots of both. We follow a weekly theme and our daily schedule includes: free play, circle time, art, snack, large motor activity, and small group time. Learning about the community around them is also important to preschoolers. Visitors to our classroom have included dental hygienists, police officers, and musicians. Our four-year-olds go on field trips, and places we've visited in the past include: a pumpkin patch, fire station, and diary farm.
Four-year-olds meet Monday and Wednesday, either morning, 9:15 to 11:30, or afternoon, 12:30 to 2:45. Friday mornings are an option for parents who would like a three day week. Three-year-olds meet Tuesday and Thursday morning from 9:15 to 11:30.
